Finally signed up on TDH

Whoey

New Hunter
Hi all, browsed TDH many many times in the past, finally decided to sign up.

I've had a "fett-ish" for a long time, and up to date it's been mostly collecting action figures and related stuff (and it's getting harder and harder to keep up!)

I've always been keen on Mandalorian armour, and have always fancied owning a bucket. For now the best I have is the .45 scale replica Boba Fett helmet. I've seen a few of the officially licensed "collectors" helmets over the years, and either didn't have the money, or was kind of disappointed with the detail level (or shall I say lack thereof) for the price...

Looking around on the forum, it's definitely overwhelming for a newbie to even begin to have an idea of which model to look at...

My dream would be to own a complete set of 1:1 scale armour... looking at pricing I've seen on Bobamaker, it's still a long way off, and while my wife may be forgiving to my "fett-ish" I think would kill me if I ordered a fully painted kit!

Any advice on where to begin?

Welcome to the TDH family.

If you want to go on the cheapest way then scratch building is your path. All parts for this can be found on the corresponding forums (the Helmet, Armor and Costume).

But if you want or can afford the money, then you can contact the best prop makers at TDH. The best and most accurate helmet is the GMH made by fettpride (thanks to Art). The rest of the costume can be bought from the Cargo Hold but you can't post there right now because as a new member you have some restrictions (read here).

yeah, I read the restrictions, there's no rush, and judging by the time that elapses on some projects, patience seems to pay off...

just been looking at some of the customs... wow...
