Hello everyone. My name is Brent and live in Indiana, USA. I joined the 501st in October 2016 as Emperor Palpatine. Within weeks I needed a bucket costume so I didn't have to spend 2 hours applying my appliance and makeup to create the Emperor. So I bought a Sandtrooper from a fellow trooper. I was hooked. Since I was little (and I'm 38) and saw ESB in the theaters originally, I fell in love with Boba Fett. So now it is time to build one. I started with an already painted helmet. When the package arrived I screamed like a little girl meeting her favorite band/crush. My wife thought I was insane. HAHA. So I've spent hours on this forum already. I hope to meet as many fellow enthusiasts as I can and learn from everyone. Thanks for letting me share and look forward to posting my build.

I'll start by saying, in my experience with several boba suits, always work from the inner layers, out. Never work from the outside in.. start with jumpsuit, then vest, belts, shoes, but armor always comes last.

Welcome to the forum. Depending on where you are in Indiana you may see a few members from here at conventions if you attend them. I'm down in Louisville and I know of another member who is about an hour east of me below Cincinnati and we both tend to frequent the cons between there and Indianapolis. Make sure you do your research and be sure to ask any questions that you're unsure about. Good luck on your build!
