Vest Pattern

Does anyone have a pattern for a mando vest? I've seen vest made by members here ond on the MM site, but I'd like attempt to make one myself. Kinda the point for me, you know, pushing my skill level. Any help or direction would be great. Thanks.

It's gonna be tough cause Mar'eyce drafts her own patterns. I think for her Boba style she used the pattern here as a basic template in making her own.

sorry its so late but i asked her but she couldn't remember where she found it but basically you use an old t-shirt for the pattern just cut out the arm holes and cut the bottom of the t-shirt to the right length and use that for the pattern.... she made a test out of cheap fabric to make sure it fit right and made adjustments ...i.e. made it tighter or looser then used the test for the actual pattern

Starting with a cheerleader pattern has always been a good suggestion. Take a look at this link.

You can start with something like this, or you can find another pattern that has this basic shape and go from there to fit it for yourself.

Yeah and if you doubt your sewing ability, you can do what I did. I went to a Salvation army type store and got an old cheerleading top. Mind you this was for my girlfriend's armor. Luckily, it was black & a turtleneck design. All I had to do was cut the sleeves off. If your slender & lucky, you might find something.
