RBF's custom... maybe I lost it...PIC HEAVY!

Thanks!! It means alot!!

I was messing around a bit with this idea for some time now... to my shame the idea came to me from DBZ, the Saiyen Scouters... ah well, I' m an event helper in September and this way it' ll be loads easier to communicate with everyone:

I have also bought some aquarel pencils and tested them out. Not to great, but it was fun to use some different material for a change.

holy shizzz that is nice! way to take your time with the painting and making all the details fit together well. I especially like the raised panels on the bucket. It's clearly custom without being overboard.

Youve done an excelent job of wearting without over weathering. Might I suggest in the pictures of your cape from the rear, with the backpack on, putting some exhaust darkening on the cape where the thruster packs are.

Even if its just light overspray, it will give it a bit of realism. The cape looks nice and weathered, but just funny with the pack on, as the weathering doesnt match the real world use of the pack:)

Cheers though, your armours awesome man.

thanks everyone!!
I actually thought about those scorch marks... but then Boba's cape does not have them either, and neither Boba nor Jango had 2 big scorches on their bread pieces.
I think it would look funnier with 2 marks then without, as people won't see me flying anyway it might have some use other then flying... like Boba's " rocket" which was intentionally designed as a grapple hook.. now why would you need a grapple hook for something that flies?

RBF...whoa man! I leave the site for a year or so, come back, and you're building this sick custom mando. Nice work! Your attention to detail has always been astounding.

ha ha, welcome back!! and a big thank you!!

I hope everything will look cool when I finally wear the entire thing.
Just need some gaunts and I'm all set. :)

Just about finished for an upcoming event, no gauntlets yet.

A more detailed photoshoot will follow once the gaunts are done...

That is just awesome!

If you don't mind me asking how did you do the weathering? From the pics of the chest you painted it then laid the marks on top. And I love the 3D scratches, lends to the realistic look.
