Custom Mandalorian Question on Legacy Helmets

Hello, everyone. I've been looking at a lot of people's work on legacy helmets and I've noticed a trend that doesn't seem to make much sense to me. In the comic that is usually used for reference, the visor is not exposed at the bottom of the helmet like Jango or Boba fett style armour is. What I mean is that the visor ends before the helmet does, like it does in neo crusader armour. However whenever I see someone do a Legacy build, the visor still goes all the way down to the bottom of the helmet. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this, and your thoughts on it are.
