Hmmm.... I seemed to have misplaced my chest diamond...
Anyway I have to go get my camera back from my sister, I hate how my phone camera washes out the color,

A comparison of my SWG buy'ce, my real one, and the inspiration for my color scheme (Also the look of my SWG character):

Are these pictures of some sort of new Mandalorian armor from the game? Because when I played pre-NGe I don't remember it being weathered like that :facepalm Or the skull on the shoulders for that matter.

Your suit looks awesome. You're progressing really fast. Let's see a fit test!

The weathering and mando skull are a game mod you can add, however only you or others with the mod can see it.

I agree with Mercke, your just about ready for a test fit =D

I first saw the picture in a star wars magazine that my sister gave me because it had an article on Mandalorians, it had the mando wedding picture in it too. I recently found the pictures on wookieepedia. I always thought that it was Orade only older than in his previous picture, since he's wearing the same colors as his dad Vevut:

And in bloodlines, it says that he has short hair, a beard, and a broken nose. But I was looking at the illustrations someone did of Sacrifice and they had Orade with red/silver armor if I'm not mistaken.
Anyway on to my armor, I did a test fitting today, I used some old shin guards for the arms because I thought it looked bare with nothing on them, I am not keeping them, it was just for the picture, I also did not put the straps on for the leg armor that's why they are just hanging there. I just need to save up for my gauntlets and make some knee armor.

I see I have to make ALOT of improvements on my armor, this is my first time doing ANYTHING like this so I think I did alright. Oh yeah, ignore the luggage and mess, I'm getting ready for my trip to San Francisco.

Looks good man, looks real good. Once you get the leg armor attached more completely it'll look really good. And surprisingly, I don't have a problem with the leg armor on the forearms. Its a different look, but it works. Not every supercommando has the same gauntlets, right?

Looks good! You definitely need to straighten out those thigh pieces though and tighten up the shin armor. Other then that it looks great, and those fixes are pretty easy.

It looks like it will fit you well overall. However, looking at these pictures I can't help but notice that your suit looks very low-wasited. I would suggest pulling the belt (and everything attached to it) up. Once that is doen, looks like you're good to go! You're doing great.

Thanks for the input guys, I'll work on those legs. I have to repaint part of my right chest plate and codpiece, I was just finishing packing my clothes when I see my dog run by with the chest plate in her mouth! She had jumped on top of the table and grabbed the piece and started chewing on it. When I took it away from her, she ran back and grabbed the other piece . It's not too bad, after I paint it again, it'll be some more battle damage, but I don't know how to explain the chew marks on the crotch plate .

Excellent job -- that's great paint scheme. I think if you flight suit was a bit smaller in the leg area - and you got them tighter -- much like Jango -- it would serve a better job.... the ammo pouches make this Mando - very nice touch.

Looking at it, it looks good, but you may want a more secure way for some other pieces of armor (Legs, and forearms, they seem to look lose, or drag the flightsuit down)

If you choose to, you could get some elastic straps to help tighten the look of it, or have some Nylon strap (if you want, I am not very keen on Nylon, but this isn't a big part of the costume) and clip them together, two on each leg piece, two on the forearm armor.

Just an idea, if it has been mentioned already, then ignore the comment.

My wife has one of those super soaker guns...I've been trying forever to get her to part with it. It has a lot of similar shape and design to the stormie blasters. If you squint your eyes the right way.
