My First Mando. Help please

New Hunter
Okay! I've been planning a custom Mando since Star Wars episode 2 because of Jango Fett.
My Mandalorian, A'den Naas, hunts Krayt dragons and great Krayt dragons for their pearls, scales, teeth, claws, and anything else that sells. He is stationed on Tatooine, and stays there in one year intervals. I am planning to flesh out his story a lot more.
Anywhoooo, on to the armor itself. For my first build I'm planning a basic Fett armor, then to upgrade it to heavy armor. For the colors I was thinking a dark sand color with a splash of burgundy.
My bucket is going to be Saz's Krayt dragon. I'm going to post some concept drawings later.
I'm goIng to be using a black flightsuit, burgundy vest, gold/sand armor, and a Khaki cape. For my weapons I was thinking of using duel blasters(more of that desert western feel), a vibrosword, and a long range rifle.
I was thinking of using a duster type jacket to give the mando mor of that loner western feel but then I thought that it he would have less movability than a cape.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to make tmy mando more dessert-ist krayt dragon hunter-ish would be appreciated

What are your guys suggestions for colors or are the ones I've picked out good?

So far so good. I think the cape would be better than the duster. I know gunslingers in the movies and funny books wear dusters, but it's more for the visual reveal of the gun as they tuck the coat behind the holster. Practically speaking, a cape would be much better. I suppose you could do a sleeveless duster, but if you're just looking for the flow of a duster, I'd go with a kama and maybe a short cape.

Speaking strictly visually, I'd throw in some reptillian influences. Maybe some "krayt skin" boots or a belt. Maybe do one of your shoulder bells in reptillian skin (fake, of course. Don't go out killing innocent krayt's just because I said it'd look good).

might I suggest less black... black really stands out in a desert, and... it's very hot. Lighter shades i.e. tan/white/greys are more effective for a desert environment

Haha darn I was about to go on a krayt slaying marathon but I guess not!I am going to incorparate the Krayt dragon pearl some way. I'm going to actually thinking of doing the cape in a krayt dragon skin texture. As for the weathering, I want to sandblast it but I don't have the resources to do that. I am going to weather it though. Yeah I know black doesn't make sense with him being in the desert but it looks really good next to the gold and burgundy.

You might think about going with a tan flight suit. A dark tan could work. If you darken the gold of your armor to a duller color, then it doesn't clash so much. (I know the Mando Maker doesn't have the best color selection).
