Mandalorian Mercs Custom Mandalorian Costume Club.

Today at Syracuse Hero's Expo, Mandalorian Mercs presented Daniel Logan (Boba Fett EpII) with an honorary membership plaque. The members of the Falco clan said he was one of the coolest people they have had the pleasure spending time with.

We have started the "Help a Verd'ika Xmas fund" this holiday to help out a couple needy children in Ohio. This will be a yearly Mercs organizational event that will help the few children we can who's bag from Santa may be a wee bit slim.

Our goal this year is $150, which isn't much at all. A couple happy faces at Christmas makes it so worth it.

If your interested in helping out, check out the post on the Mercs forum. We'll be keeping a fund raising thermometer on our main page to show progress.

Mandalorian Mercs is currently working on producing a LIVE bi-weekly podcast. We've decided on doing a 45 min podcast that will focus on Mercs events, Custom Mandalorian armor production tips and tricks, a live call-in Q&A on all things concerning Mandalorians and Mandalorian armor, and Star Wars media reviews. We will probably be showcasing some armor kits from Mercs as well as the TDH variant board from time to time also.

Anyhow, stay tuned...we will be rolling out our first live podcast in the next couple weeks.

Next monday at 6pm EST we will be launching the first of our bi-weekly podcasts. We are very excited to be able to provide this to mandalorian costumers, those interested, and general star wars fans =)

For those of you who will be tuning into the live broadcasting of Mando'ade (The Mandalorian Mercs podcast), we will be taking your calls throughout the hour long broadcast. We will also have a Q&A segment near the end of the show that you can call in and ask a question about Mandalorians, Star Wars, Costuming, Mercs or anything related to that. We'll also have a chatroom open on the BlogTalkRadio site where you can post questions or send comments to the podcast staff during the show.

Link to the show:

Call in #

We'll also have the entire show available for download.

Well, the podcast lastnight was a hit. We had 94 live listeners and quite a few today as well. LOL we learned alot from our first broadcast...like never answer an incoming call over skype or you kill the conference call keeping everyone in the broadcast.

Technical difficulties aside, it was a very fun evening as we had quite a few visitors. We will be back on the air December 17th for an hour and a half broadcast (We found out that an hour just isn't enough time).

You can also listen to lastnight's broadcast on the Mercs site at:

The "Help a Verd'ika Christmas Fund" was very successful on it's first year. We were able to raise $150 to provide a Star Wars Christmas for two children in Ohio. We decided that next year we will have a "Donation Helmet" At every Mercs convention/event table so we can help more disadvantaged children next year. This made everyone feel good =)

Deb told me about you guys and said you needed some artwork done. Here is a general template any one of you can use for anything you want. just thought I'd share up. You can edit it however you want. I just threw in some contrasting colors. If you want to use it for a regional logo go for it.

Thats a pretty sweet image.

The original Mandalorian Mercs logo was created about 2 years ago by a friend of mine in California. The design you have there harkens back to the original design with a ring around the skull, however it also included claw marks across the skull. I like your design very much! I'm sure we can use it.

I have the original Illustrator file if you want it. I just thought you could use it for something. I did it while half awake this morning while waiting for my coffee to brew. Have a good one.
