Inroduction and a Plea

Xorren

New Hunter
Hello everyone, y'all can call me Xorren. I'm from southern Indiana and I love Star Wars costuming. I already have a Jedi Costume and am a member of the Jedi Assembly under the name Xorren Hedrasii. I've liked Mandalorians since I first saw ESB. I even made a crappy costume when I was 7...wore it to the library and DEMANDED a library card in the name of Boba Fett...those were the days LOL. Anyway I'm going to do a custom Mando, and the second best thing (other than me having a Mando outfit) is that due to an awesome set of circumstances, I might be making it on my highschool's dollar!

Now on to the plea part. I'm looking into purchasing a very blank helmet. Just the basic shape. No earpieces, no rangfinder, no T-Visor, or anything. Give me a shout if you can help.

Hello neighbor. I'm from southeast Indiana, how far are you from there roughly? Anyway, I'd recommend getting a Sgt. Fang resin helmet. I have one and like it alot-liked the price even better at just over $100 shipped...It does come with the ear pieces and the range finder itself, but the stalk and T-visor are not included. Good luck, if I can be of any help, feel free to ask. If I can't answer your question, there are many more who could. Good luck on your custom!

Happy Holidays!

Hello Dha, I'm near Jasper, and about 40 miles north of Evansville. Anyway who is this Sgt. Fang? Is he a member of this board or an eBayer or what?

Sgt. Fang is a member of this board. I believe he sells some on ebay every once in while too. Go ahead and shoot him a pm.

Thanks for the advice fello Mando's. I'll see what I can do. I suppose that making a decision to start a Mandalorian armor set was kind of foolish right before the holidays...NO CASH LOL!

I hear that! I've been trying to scrape up enough cash to spend on Christmas, and have a nice Christmas at that-and keep buying what I need to complete my armor. Then the jet pack...Sgt Fang does some really good "Mystery" helmet recasts, but be sure to have either some Bondo or Bondo Glazing and Spot Putty handy to fill in the dent and the mess up's inherent in virtually all recasts. At least those that I've seen to date anyway. What's funny about that Glazing and Spot Putty works as an awesome paint stripper-go figure huh?
