I happen to be currently sculpting out female mando chest plates. They will be made available in fiberglass if there is enough interest. I want to get some more work done on the project this weekend before I post any pics. I'll start a new thread for it when pics are ready so as not to hijack this one.

Hey, good luck on the costume, it takes a lot of time and patience (Most of the time anyways!)

But guys, if it is impractical....it is a costume... it's not like we are in the SCA and we need functional armor or anything.

This is make believe. No one is going to be shooting at your "plastic" armor anyway with a "laser" so...make is sexy, make it cool, make it what you want it to be. Rock on!

Hope you don't mind, but I'm going to steal your idea for the belly plates. I made one already, but the shape was off. I made it small, because I'm small, but it just didn't look right when it was on. Have you started any of this, or are you still planning it out?

I should have noticed that the more recent posts were from others...I checked out the Pink Mando, I can't wait to see it put together. She's so close to being done.
