Custom Mando :D (Pic Heavy)

Yes!!! Welcome back Ord"ika! The armour looks great!!! Except you might want to bring the two breast plastes and the diamond up a lit bit closer to the collar. There seems to be a little to much gap there. (y)

:cheers
A'den

Yeah, I have a long back. But I will try to position them best I can.

Is there an "E" at the end of Velcro..... ;) :p
Just playin' girl... your much farther than I am, I did at least get myself some industrial velcro, just haven't sewn it on yet... Hope to get the sister-in-law to do that for me since she's good with a machine. :)

My lovely work station in the basement.

And just for fun. ;)

Yes, I cheated and used tape on the outside. Now, question: should I bondo the not-dome part or use something else? And should I bondo the dome or use something else?

You should buy a skateboard helmet, and use that as your dome, takes a lot of work out of your sanding.

P.S. I am SOOOOOOOOOO jealous, you have a basement, I have to work in the crawlspace under the house!!! j/k :)

Yeah, you're dome is peaking just a tad too high, need to bring it down just a tiny bit.

Right, I'll trim the tips a bit. Thank you!

And thank you everyone else for your comments! :D

Sewing is going well:

That's one piece Velcroed and... *counts her armor plates* 7 more to go on just the torso. AUGH! SO MUCH SEWING!!! But it's kinda fun when you don't screw it up. ;)

Okay, I'm tired and going to watch a movie with my mom (though I should sleep, cos I have a soccer game tomorrow. Hehehe). Jate'ca! (to bring in some Mando'a--brownie points to who can tell me what it says ;) )

P.S. I have a question: should I coat my armor's paint with some sort of protective clear thing?

hehe, Jate'ca means good night (actually it is a combination of 2 words good (Jate) and night (ka).

Your helmet is a bit big, you might want to trim the bottom a bit. :)

Ori'buyce, kih'kovid :p

No, don't coat it, It will help you along with a little natural weathering.

Other than that, looks great!!!

Good luck ner'vod. :)

Not sure if I am right but I think your shoulder bells need to be closer to the body at the top of them, they seem to look separated from the vest.

Either that or put further down.

Something looks wrong in that department...

Apart from that, it looks great, REALLY coming along now :)

Your helmet is a bit big, you might want to trim the bottom a bit.

It's the dome part of her helmet, it goes to a peak (Like a lemon) and needs to be cut back slightly to round out the dome, once that is done, the helmet should sit a lot higher.

You know the more I look at it, the more I think You are right. Also, the helmet looks more like the Jango 2 piece right now, you might want to add some support struts to keep it from warping during the glassing process.

Aside from the pointy top... lol it looks good Ordeyn. I would suggest maybe putting a carboard circle over the top of the dome so that it has less point to it. My bucket's not looking anywhere near that good.
