any advice for a novice?

My colour scheme has changed slightly. it was going to be grey armout with red and black details, but i have changed it to dark green armour.

the red and green hopefully will go well together.

also it is a nod to my welsh roots!

here is my helmet so far.

i know the dome and sides are not as smooth as they could be, but when i sprayed it all silver, it reminded me of my cast aluminium 13th century helmet, and i kinda liked the effect, so i kept it that way and painted it.

any comments would be welcome on my progress (good or bad)

i have just put in a red visor, made of theatrical lighting gell, and have also decided that as it was my first attempt, i will start on another helmet, but keep this one and paint it up as my characters grandfathers, Iviin'yc Galaar.

now i know how it will go together, and how to apply the fiberglass, i may get a smoother finish next time.

Here is the concept for my full armour. i like the clour scheme and will also add lots of scratches and scuff marks. the red scribble on the helmets right side will be my name in mando font.

the shins are going to be like the clone trooper shin plates in revenge of the sith (at least in theory!)
