Who is best when shipping items

Hi Everyone

I was sorting out some shipping quotes today and was taken back by the price parcel force UK charges for stuff its a total rip off, i know there is fedex and ups but who are the best and whats there prices like as the way it is shipping is killing us, you but something for say 120 then on top of that they want 120 shipping all because the postage company likes to rip people off. Chime in and tell me who you use and why.

A lot of sellers that I've bought from in the U.K. have used DHL. I think it's quite a bit cheaper.

Bobamaker who is located in the UK uses DHL.

whenever i've bought from the UK, shipping has been brutal.

i bought a vintage RAF greatcoat (the style used on Torchwood / worn by Jack Harkness). i paid more to ship it to me than the coat cost. i think it was 50 pounds for the coat and 70 for shipping.
