90 Days

Filer

Jr Hunter
Hey Folks, have been active a bit trying to get my ROTJ sorted, and really keen to become a full member. Have past 90 days a few months ago. Thanks everyone, Filer

Would be awesome to be able to respond to folks, like the guy posting 'FS: Brand New Asok Helmet kit, ROTJ woodman cape & braids, MoW gloves etc' and let him know that I'll take everything... but alas, hoping PMs are enough again...

Ah, I've been doing most correspondence through PM, and thought that was 90 days or 50 posts... ok, here comes the onslaught.

I will have finished my build and spent literally thousands of dollars with members here including many vendors in the Cargo hold before I am eligible to post in there.

Kinda ironic that I will probably hit my post count of 50 and be eligible to post in there after I finish my build and no longer have a need for it.

From my understanding the post limit is to keep the cargo hold from being spammed with non star wars related items.

Lol, I am right with you!! I got 50, but hope to be done at 3 months. Depends on when Arkady finishes my flight suit.

You'll love your Arkady suits when they arrive. Mine fitted beautifully.

Most of my stuff is gradually in progress (commission painters etc) and I hope to have mine done within about another 6 months (hopefully less). The only other significant component I need to track down is gauntlets. I was going to post a WTB ad in the Cargo hold but....

I also need to find a hollow RF Stalk to fit a FPH2 lid, was also going to posted a wanted ad for that too but...

I did manage to sell a spare bucket I had to a TDH member without posting a FS ad in the Cargo Hold which I thought was a fair effort.

If your doing a ROTJ build cruzer has a beautiful kit for sale in the cargo hold. For ESB I would recommend waiting for RKD to get back into production or get in touch with MOW.

Mines an ESB, was hoping RKD would get active again soon as you suggest. Failing that if I could pick up a FP set I would happily snap those up too.

Cruzer does amazing work, was lucky I'm building a ROTJ - we need to talk him into a ESB build too.

I've been considering a paint commission too, but also bought an airbrush set to give it a go... Maybe I can trade a paint commission for a full set of aluminium armour...? What does ROTJ bucket, helmet and jetpack painting go for these days?

That's one that's going to be hard to answer. Most painters will price items differently just because of the items and each painter will probably have different prices than the others. It'll also depend on the types of paint you want to use since some are harder to find and come with a price to represent that. Best I could recommend would be paint a few up and when you can post in the cargo hold make a thread saying your taking painting commissions and post your work. After you get your first few painted you can look at your prices and adjust for your cost of labor and supplies.
