Iron Man 3d model for Pepakura

here's what I have so far, I haven't done the ears or neck yet, so its still kind of flimsy and the parts are just held together with paperclips.

EDIT: I have added struts to keep the shape while fiberglassing, and I have fixed the area between the eyes.

The model is complete and ready, so if you want it, send me a pm with your email address and paper size (Letter/A4).

Why are you not putting it up for free? You would become a pepakura legend! And I really want it.......
I would be willing to trade, pm me with something to offer.
I spent a lot of time working on this. I have given away other models for free over on the 405th (Halo costuming) forums.

Awesome how long did it take?
It took a couple of months, mostly because of me not knowing how to use the various 3d modeling programs. The final one only took about a week.

UPDATE:
Due to lots of requests, I have decided to do some more of the armor.
First up, is the shoulder bells.

I'll have more, as it happens.

I've also been considering offering the helmet file for free, but my current financial situation(unemployed) and my g/f tell me no. What do you guys think?

hi first of all a greeting look I understand your financial situation is like that of many of us and understand that you want to charge for this work of art but not if I understand what happens is that I'm trying to do a truss but my budget is too short then I have right now is the bell of the armor and if I want to obtain the helmet and I hope I understand the patterns could facilitate Hull thank you very much

this is some pritty cool stuff. i had heard about pepakura when i was researching halo costumes. sadly the guy we had in line pulled out and we had to scrap the project. awsome work so far dude. i look forward to seing the finished item.

I got a bit more done on the chest and started the abs. I actually got as far as the cod/buttplate, but it looked funky, so I'm redoing it. I'm going to separate the ab plates and extend the tops so they overlap, but I'm going to wait until I have the back done so I have a better feel for where everything lines up. I'm probably going to redo part of the shoulder too. I noticed that part of the lower portion extends too far in my model.

Good progress brother! Are you doing the chest/ab plate as a joint part? Or will they be seperate parts for ease of both build and final movement?

I modeled them as one piece, but I have separated them. I think I'm going to go more accurate and separate and extend them again to get the center and sides scalloped(?) properly. I still need to model the back so I can line everything up better.

Here's another update minus the ab separation.

I've done the hip, but my best reference pics are of the concept art, so I have to move some vertices around to get it to the movie version. I am also going to take a big chunk out of the lower center part of the chest and remodel it. There are just way too many vertices there on an area that will be essentially very flat. The chest started as a sphere, so there are tons of unnecessary vertices in that area.

I finally got registered over here, but I've been following this since it started. I'm just blown away by the level of detail, great work and thanks for sharing!
