Armor/Greeblies Is there a Zam chest armor template pdf available anywhere?

I will try to make myself.
Now I'm working on the skirt (I've lost time with the final colour of the jacket/vest), but my next step is the chest armour. When I get something, I'll share.

mirval, I find it interesting that I could find a pdf of boba fett armor that can be manipulated for a man over six and a half feet tall to a child size under 4 feet tall, but yet nobody-- NOBODY?!-- ever posted a zam chest plate armor pdf. Sometimes, I get the impression that Zam is a trademark secret...

My husband is working on a chest plate armor pdf. The next will be the gauntlets.

And yes, I think too there's like a secret. In my garrison there´s no information.

Maybe the first rule of Zam club is you do not talk about Zam club :lol:lol::zam

There's tons of Zam information on this forum. People have already done loads of groundwork on the costume. The reason there are no templates is because the costume is just not that popular like Mandos are and its an incredibly difficult costume to get right. As best as I can tell, there are less than 10 active quality Zams in the entire world. It's a costume with a high failure rate in terms of completion.

You make excellent points. However, it just seems weird that the chest plates had never been posted as a pdf, ever.
If I get it right, you can be sure I'll be posting mine. Anything to help new costumers with this one is a good idea.

Thanks to the sucky weather here in Southern Indiana, my vest, cummerbund, and "weathering" my shin guards have been put on hold until we get REAL July weather again.:facepalm

So, now I'm working the chest plate, and THANK YOU MIRVAL!! What a life saver you are sending me that file. I'm going to play with the paper version I have today so it fits me right and then take a whack at the leathers with it. I think I'll use the thicker leather as a base, and then wrap the thinner pieces with the thermoplastic for the "metal". Should be a whole lot easier to cut out the wording. By the way, what does that say? I've found the font for Star Wars that's abound in the movies, but Zam's isn't the same at all.

Look to the right side and you'll see lettering. Across from it is another dot. That's how I marked the space and length is given at the bottom of the page. So long as the width stays about the same, you should be able to lengthen or shorten as needed for your specific height. I really hope I'm not off the mark forthis and if someone wants to improve it, I can send you the pdf file directly to email.
