Kitting up? How!?

Question from a newbie to Zam...

Couldn't you make the cummerbund thingie close in the front, hidden under the greeblie? Keep it laced in the back for minor adjustments, but then it would be faster to take on and off, yes?

The trick would be hiding that effectively.

And wow, great tutorial. Very intimidating, this outfit.

Cool idea I guess, but not accuarate. If hidden well it would be cool :)
Maybe you could 'hide' it under where the blaster holster goes? That would be a far better place.
But believe me, after making the cummerbund, I'd say the last thing on your mind will be cutting in half again to make it open easier.

But I do LOVE the idea. Even though I'm male and will never wear one. LOL

I actually CAN dress myself. It just takes about twice as long and involves more cursing. My chest assembly just locks around the neck and snaps at the waist though, so I can get it on and work my arms under it to reach around me and put on everything else before I snap it down at the waist. If it was a full-fledged harness I don't think I could.

The biggest things I want to add are hinged gauntlets and make those buttons on the front of the suspenders functional - it'd be really nice to go to the bathroom without having to strip completely down!

Okay, newbie question again...

Has anyone considered asking a custom wetsuit shop to tailor the neoprene for them? They have patterns, experience, and access to neoprene that we costumers don't. I am putting in inquiries now, do you want me to post what I find out?

It just seems logical to ask the people who do neoprene outfits for a living to help out.

Thanks!

Deunan

They usually ignore you, think your crazy and reply with "we make professional diving suits not costumes" or a combination of the two. The only one i found is a guy who makes funny suits (like a skelaton) but he charged a fortune like $800
