Official Thread - Stubby (arena) Jet Pack

I made the classic one out of some cannibalized Kenmore Whispertone vacuum cleaner parts, cardboard, Slim Fast cans, duct tape, and staples.

I'm going to smooth all the surfaces with Bondo, then sand it and paint it. Looks exactly like metal if you sand it correctly.

Pictures soon.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the colors they have used on their JP's . I am slightly color blind and have a little trouble with my blues and greens (kinda sucks to be a blue-green color blind Fett, lol) Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

You seek Seeker.

Most are not sure what to think of the colors I used. :) I went for a metallic finish.

It looks like Rustoleum Royal Blue is the MUST HAVE color for any Jango...I picked up a can myself along with "harbor blue" for the stubby version. I will see how harbor blue turns out...and let you guys know.

Awesome, now I saw what paint you use to do the weathering, I'll have to get some and try it, but how do you go about applying the black for the weather? Yours really does look like its been used and worn.

In everyones opinion, what would be the best items to use for the three cone shaped pieces at the top of the jet pack? I thought of using model airplane spinners, but they don't seem to have the proper shape to them. I would appreciate any help in this matter.
