So in exchange for the heads up, i need some kind soul to do me a favour.

please PM me if you can help.
cheers

these were reccomended by someone in aother thread, supposed to be pretty good because the colour is close and theres no pattern stitching on the back. it depends on your hand size though, as these are womens gloves theyre not the best for those with larger hands.

does anyone use these, and able to comment further?

...or how about these:

They are in stock and the Navy pair appears to be the same color as the Nordstrom.

Ya know, those lands end gloves dont look so bad.

We only have one real ref pics of the gloves in natural outdoor light, and the color seems close to the lands end gloves....

I baught some of the Lands End gloves and I also have a pair of the Nordstrom gloves so I will post comparison pics as soon as I recieve the Lands End gloves. Look for pics next weekend.

Problem is that neither one has large sizes left. The Nordstrom ones are sold out in 8 1/2 and the Landsend ones would have to be XL to fit a man's hand.

Ok, got mine (Amazon.com) last night. I think the color is spot on. The size is tight for certain. I am going to remove the liners and soak them in some warm water and wear them in an attempt to stretch them a little. They currently fit... with no blood flow to my fingers.:facepalm

The size is a real problem. I had a two pair of 8 1/2 Nordstrom blue gloves in my hands, but I couldn't even come close to getting them on my hands way too small and I have small hands to begin with. :confused

I am making patterns and will sew my own, them comes the hard part getting the color right.

Good luck!

Alan

Hey wizard, do you think you could share these patterns? I'd need to make them right for my end as well...if you get the right color fabric, maybe you could buy more of it so those of us could use your patterns, buy the fabric from you and make our own gloves?

Just a quick "brainstorm" thought..

so it seems the individual who was supposedly ordering these for me has 'vanished'....

still after a pair of these if anyone can help!!!
thanks :)
