A Great, Big CONGRATULATIONS to Brian (Dynamic1) for busting his Troop Cherry at this weekends CosplayCon at Frank&Sons!! Aside from some gaunt problems (not B's fault) he looked AWESOME!!! Lot's of pics taken with him by children and adults alike. Congrats Buddy!!!

that is turning out awesome man!!! did you paint the armor yourself?... if so what exact kind of paint did you use to give the jango armor that metallic look?

it isn't actually paint.....you either buy cold cast which you buff to a shiny finish or you use Rub n Buff. The R+B is a paste that you smear on to the armor with the heat of your hand and it looks like metal.

Cold Casting is a way to cast resin or fiberglass that has a metal powder present in the outer layers. When you sand it smooth the cold cast shines like metal, but it is really just a resin.

Hey buddy...my vest is actually a "hand-me-down" from the illustrious "obrotherracing" famous on tdh for his amazing jango, Vader and not to mention...coining the term (see 7 posts above) "busting his troop cherry".

Alright...found some time (with some coaxing from Fettseven) to get these gaunts going LOL....Here we are. Just need to attach the "Pin hinge", clean up the rocket, polish up the flame thrower and hose end, followed by attaching the hoses and other bits and this thing should be pretty close to complete. An upgraded vest will be on its way from Bleahhh in the next month or so.

Hey guys...Was able to get the other sides completed today! Bout time lol! Doing some reno on our house so things have been busy. Waiting to hear back from darkside then will be ordering the darts etc...pics soon.

Lmao!...me too...for some reason the hindges stressed me out!...Fettseven was there to console me during the process ; )

An update guys...small one, but never the less...an update ...After reinforcing the piano hinges I was able to spend some time buffing them out...Still more to go as I wait for Darksides darts etc...

Looking really good, I am going to start working on my Jango soon. My finished armor and Gauntlets should be on hand in a few weeks. Boot ordered from Crow62 down in Ecudor and starting the slow process of sourcing other parts.

I was looking at the amazon glove link that was posted earlier in the thread and I am not sure if Navy, Cobalt or marine blue looks to be more Jango color accurate? Or has anyone tracked down a better pair of gloves?
