ive been out of the loop for so long its good to back amoung the Fettsters.

As you guessed thinking of putting together a Jango Fett costume, but because im kind of in and out the whole costuming scene and not really sure wether i want to commit 100% ive been looking into 2 options.

1/ the more accuarte expensive build up with Bobamakers stuff

2/ or the cheaper option sourcing parts here there and everywhere

i came across a company on errrrrr can i mention it here ?? that auction site called EVOLUTIONTOYSHOP based in of all places Argentina.

any heads up on these people would be appreciated

Of course you can mention Evolution toy shop, he goes by britt59 on the boards.

Bobamaker doesn't make all Jango Fett parts. Cruzer makes most the parts. Dark-Side makes the knees.

Cruzer makes gun holsters, Seeker makes the ammo belt.

Fettpride and Bobamaker (BM) makes parts but not as much as Cruzer.

Their are other great makers such as MOW (Man of War), Bobby Fett UK who can also make some parts.

Am sure if you look in 'The Cargo Hold' you may see some items going cheaper for sale.

If you wanted too, depending on you hand skills. Look at Alan's WOF Templates for Jango Fett parts and make them from scratch.

All up to you. Welcome to TDH! Best of Luck whatever your choice!

so i take it then that evolution is a reputable seller and the quality is good

gabe's stuff is kind of hit and miss. some of his stuff is remarkably good, and by some of i mean his boba gear, it's been what he's been working on the longest. he recently got into more jango equipment and it's all right. he posts products from time to time, and we give him feedback, and he takes it back to the drawing board to tweak it some more, and this goes on a few times before we all seem to reach a happy balance between accuracy and price. is it the best stuff? not really. but it's not total garbage either, not like some of the things you can find on ebay. if you're a stickler for accuracy you'll want to go with the makers listed in mandalorian guards post, if not you'll still want to give evolution probably another year to get some more of the bugs worked out of their jango line.

Regardless of what supplier you go with, putting together a Jango kit that you can be proud of is an expensive and time consuming venture. MG pointed you in the right direction with some good suppliers and great folks that are fans just like us so they have a lot of pride that goes into their work. Remember that as you go along, ask questions even if it seems silly and put it together slowly and methodically, otherwise you will spend good money after bad.

well i know Daz (bobamaker) from way back and did always plan to get one of his cold cast Jango helmets anyway.

ive been out the loop for so long just wanted to get some ideas,

thanks guys as usual the Dented Helmet comes in tops

Hi guys,

While my situation isnt the same, I am familiar with some makers in australia for non fett/mando stuff, I was looking for advice on where I could get a basic helmet kit to start working on my mando costume.

I am a 501st & RL member and know that getting the best stuff is normally a question of asking people on forums like these. So I hear Bobamaker mentioned a fair bit, and since my costume is custom, i thought starting off with a Jango helmet might be the way to go.

So how does one get in contact with Bobamaker? does he have a site? What are the options?

thanks in advance.

bobamaker is about the best out there although as has been said he dont make all the parts,i got the flightsuit, chest shoulder and collar armour as well as a cold cast helmet from him and it is fantastic.i have no problem recomending him to anyone
