yeah.lol i did that to see what it would look like and then i will paint it. i really suck at painting. i did it to see how to do it. it wont stay like that.:)

anybody know where i could get a big(thick, very nice )helmet at?

i seen some on ebay for 100. but i dont know if they are good.

The 'mystery' helmet on ebay you wanna stay clear of. Its rumored to be nasty, heavy resin, and not very well crafted.

If you want inexpensive get one of those new vac formed helmets. Or watch the cargo hold for something decent:)

he are some i took last week.

(without the ammo belt and the 2 black strips on the helmet.

i hope to be done with it somethime after christmas, when i lose a couple pounds.lol

That helmet fits you a lot better than that rubies.

The armor doesn't seem to be attached very well, it's not staying in place. I would also suggest trying to rub n buff that armor a little more. It looks too dull, like silver spray paint.

yeah i dont have a lot of velcro back there. i just have it to keep it on.

ok i will do the rub and buff again.

do i put something else on it when i am done with the rub and buff?

No, just let the rub n buff sit for a few days to make sure it is completly dry. If you put a clear coat on it, it will make it look dull.

The way I did it was I rubbed it all in evenly and the tried to quickly buff it with a paper towel... It takes a few tries before you can see what works well for you.

best results i have had with rub and buff is to rub it on with you hand as even as possible..little goes a long way...then rub it hard and fast to create heat...that will bring up a nice shine...and a few blisters..LOL

yeah that little tube of paint goes a long way. i only used one for the hole set.

btw the gunlet ibn that picture is not the one i am going to use. that is just a little thing i made for some pics.

Before applying any RnB make sure your armor is smooth and clean enough to eat off of. It needs to be wetsanded many times with at least 600 grit sandpaper. Also, if you used a whole tube, you probably used too much! Too much RnB will also make it look dull.

i just filled in the dent on the helmet

it looks alot better in person, then in this picture,i still have to do alittle painting on the dome.
