Hi guys ive been building this for a while now doing bit and pieces when i have time and money ive always loved the jango fett character but cant afford all the amazing gear available for you guys on this site so im having a go at build my own from scratch using templates from here this is what ive got so far

ok first of all and i know i know i got a cheap rubies and a cheap set of gauntlets from ebay i know there not right but they will do for now, The gauntlets was in rough kit form ive put them together and painted and weathered them and added some lights

ok so i put my jango suit on my duck tape dummy today and standing back looking at it i think my rubies helmet is just not going to cut it because of my big body frame it just looks to small so im going to build my own i think im going to pep it out and resin it so today i started work on the rangefinder i used the same plastic material i used for the armor it glued well with super glue and sanded really well see what you think

I've also made a board for the inside to make a circuit on its going to be self contained with green and red flashing leds on the front and a clear on in the window that will work on a tilt switch so when the rangefinder is down the the lights come on and when it goes up they go off and all run off a small battery self contained inside the rangefinder

Congratulations bro!!!!!!!!!!!! your build is great!!!!!!!! have a costume is not have at the end is the experience in building!!!!!!!!!!!!!, yes the rubies is not love for may people but is that helmet is fine to small people, in your case in the future you must buy another helmet (big to you) maybe an Asok.

you chest ammo is great, but maybe you must try another size (l maybe and cut a little the belly armor in botton like 2 cm) you are a big boy.......but you going great!

you jetpack is going great too!!!!!!!! amazing work

dont forget the helmet black lines to finish well

Nice work so far, but as I already stated over on the RPF, try to keep your edges a bit more crisp. ;)

Budget builds like yours are my favorite, so if you'd like any advice, tips or anything, you can drop me a PM either here or over on the RPF. (y)

I like you build and the weathering on the armor. I am wondering if the foam can be sealed and painted so that it doesn't look like foam. I like the idea, living in FL it is hot and the extra weight even fiberglass, would make the costume more uncomfortable a lighter pack seems like a great idea.
