My BKBT Jango FEtt Bucket! (Pic Heavy!)

It's actually fiberglass painted with an automotive product called Mirrachrome from Alsa Corp. The paint is a little on the expensive side. I was thinking about painting my car with it and decided to test it on something smaller to make sure that it actually looks like real chrome. So far I think it does the trick.

The helmet I may end up putting on Ebay when I've finished it. That's where I got it from and the paint job it came with left something to desire. Also, it looks like whoever did the recast had a poorly made mother mold since the back of the helmet is a little on the misshapen side.

The other trick is before it can be sprayed with Mirrachrome, the helmet needs a flawless, glass-like black finish. This stuff shows every single mistake you make in fairing, priming, or painting. It's a little more noticeable in this photo from behind where I didn't quite buff the bottom edge to a perfect gloss before the chrome paint.

Those helmets are pretty nice but now im wondering... Is the real jango fett helmet so shinny? I think this is exscesive shinny

Just to clarify,

The last few pics are NOT one of my Jango helmets. It looks to be one of JD's if I'm not mistaken. Just want to give credit where credit is due.
