Thanks guys, glad you like it. I know it's not perfect, but I think it'll work until someone can come along and make a more accurate one. Gave it a sand and here's the final with a little bit of Dupli-Color silver.(y)

Here's a side by side. I've never been happy with the angle of the top right side, and now I know why...its angle is 1 degree less than the left side. I've already started on the spot work. If I don't make the adjustment, my conscience wouldn't allow me to mold and sell this backplate with that discrepancy. And we can't have a bunch of Jangos running around with asymetrical backplates, right?

I've been trying to resist looking at this one, it looks beautiful!

I already have a back-plate, but I feel my resolve weakening....

Congratulations dude!

Jono!

  ...thanks guys.

CG, I only want your $$ if I feel I've really earned it.;) Trust me, it was off by 1-1.5 degrees and it was bugging the heck out'a me. I was able to sleep better last night knowing that I had already begun to fix it, and the adjustment will be finished by today....so no biggie. I'll gladly take your money and put it towards a set of MR Jango blasters anyday!

reveal1, your box is open, but I almost sent your backplate back to you the other day!...now you'll be getting two back.(y)

Jono, "resistance is futile"...Is that a cult movie foul!

Hey Cruzer, Ive just noticed this if you havent yet, but the semi-circle cut out compared to the pic of the real thing, I think yours should be a bit shorter, or lower. The top of the curve on your sculpt is higher in comparison to the real one. Other then that, I think youve got it dead on as far accuracy is concerned. Very good work!

I think that the curve is higher becuase the whole backplate is longer to accomodate multiple different sized individuals. He intentionally left it long, but there are cutoff lines that would make it look exactly like the screen pics.

Yeah, fettfanatic is correct. He made the backplate longer for taller people. It will be trimmed to be "accurate" for those who are "accurate-sized."
