Jango Gauntlet Blueprints

Anything, really. I've made a few out of garage sale signs, I made some scaled down ones for my son out of cardboard, some people use Sintra or ABS, and I've seen some out of metal. Whatever material you feel comfortable working with is fine as long as it looks okay in the end.

Well how do you use these blue prints exactly? They seem like 3d shapes and cutting that out could be confusing...for me anyways.

Anyone made a tutorial for these yet?

I have been building up a set of gauntlets using WOF's templates. though unfinished I managed to work out what needed to be cut out etc.
most of it is cut from flat sheets, but the tricky part is getting the clamshell part to be the right shape.

I had them printed out at 1:1 in illustrator, then traced onto 2mm ABS sheet to form the basis of each gauntlet. I have been taking progress pics as i go so if i have time I'll put it into a tutorial.

So...I take it there are no templates currently?
Should I just use the Boba ones and alter as necessary for Jango?

That's exactly what I did. I took the Boba gauntlet templates and altered them, using every single photo of Jangos gauntlets that I could find. Although not quite as accurate as Cruzers, I still feel that mine turned out pretty decent.

Sorry for the fuzzy pic, I can try to take a better/clearer one if requested.

I can't wait for you to finish these man. Especially if your other templates to date are anything to go by!
Keep up the good work. I think that it's fair to say I'm not the only person eagerly awaiting the arrival of these templates.

Your templates are fantastic, Alan. Most of the scratch builds I see here use your templates. Just let us know when they are ready for download. Also, how soon could you start on a template for a working, flight capable firespray?!! That would beat all!!

As a noob I'm blown away by the level of devotion and skill Allan and others have, thanks guys, I've just began my first Bucket and Armour for my 4yr old will post pics soon, I first made sure I had all the right tools (as per Tutorial recommendations...Alan)
