Boots

In all honesty, those aren't too accurate. The cheap alternate are the JBX2 boots that are sold at Journeys.

I got myself a pair and they are pretty decent as far as accuracy goes.

I'd suggest taking some black shoe polish to the stitching as it's a dark grey. Aside from that and the lower buckle, you'll be good to go.

After all modifications are completed, like the removal of the lower buckle, the addition of rub-n-buff to the edges of the soles and boot armor... this is what you'll get.

I got my boots in last week, the Journey's.
Modification will start as soon as the boot armour is ready.

What exactly is rub-n-buff that is needed for the boots?

The rub-n-buff is for the edges of the soles, the two silver areas on either side of the arch in the above photo. You'll have to mask off with painters tape then simply apply the rub-n-buff. Pretty easy really.

Have you got close us of the finished boot Ian?

Laar0406 - am shocked and disapointed they don't ship them boots outside US. I'm in the UK, bit stuffed too in getting those boots.

i got those too but havnt used them yet for jango...i like them so much i havnt had the heart to costumized them..lol

Indeed.
I got then through a friend who lives in Alaska. Took four weeks and some extra import costs, but seemed like the only way to get them. :rolleyes
