What kind of helmet is this?

I was browsing Fleabay and came across this bucket. Description says it is a Rubies. :confused How could you "fix" something that warped without rebuilding half of the helmet?

i'd forget this type of buy. For a reasonable sum of less than £100 you can pick yourself up a great bucket.

these things take a lot of work and time

you fix that by taking it off your shelf, tossing it in the rubbish bin, and replacing it with a nice resin / fiberglass one!

Roger that! I didn't want to offend anyone and wasn't sure if this was one of the mass-produced helmets that people modified to make a decent helmet from.
I'll try scratch-building again, before I pay hard-earned cash for something like that. I learned from the mistakes I made on my scratch-builds, so now I have more confidence and experience. Honestly, my last one looked a lot better than this one on Fleabay, but my frustration had reached critical mass, so I put it on the back burner. :angry The flippin' dome is what kept messing me up, plus the construction of the cheeks. Oh well, burn and learn, I guess. :D
