What a horrible way for The Dented Helmet to start the new year....
Considering the vast contributions that FettPride has made to The Dented Helmet in particular, and the Boba Fett/Star Wars costuming community in general, I strongly suggest that this thread be closed immediately.

Why would it get closed? It is a thread about wait time. And then helmet details. What is wrong with that? And I can't imagine the majority of people would be cool with paying for something and waiting years for it as has been mentioned. Quality or not- unpainted parts shouldn't take years. And if it is going to , at least tell people when they pay " you will get it when you get it".

I'm sure there is more to his banning than the public knows. I honestly feel bad, it seems a lot of great contributors have been banned for reasons unknown to a lot of people.
I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision and most of us, myself included, don't want to ruffle any feathers. I'll continue to support both thedentedhelmet and Chris personally with my business.
It would be unfortunate if people who were angry customer's became the vocal minority to make the ban happen.

If you click on the helmet page there's a couple of paragraphs that are in Latin that repeat over and over, I've been told now that this isn't new though.
C'mon, y'all.
That stuff is just fill-in gibberish that a web designing company uses as filler. It's been that way for an awful long time (I believe the font is Lorem Ipsum or something Latin). I found that out several YEARS ago when I was looking to make a purchase. It just means that the site hadn't been finished, and certainly doesn't mean that he took everyone's money and moved to Mars (he better not - I've got another helmet on order, too....).
The ban was abrupt, and I can only think that Art had final say. I hope that some kind of explanation is coming. It's FettPride, for Pete's sakes.

We simply did not feel we could start another year allowing Chris to use TDH's community given his long history of sales related issues. There is little need to go into greater detail as those who support Chris will argue against any explanation given while those who have been burned by Chris would agree with that same explanation. I have no interest in making statements that would inevitably pit members of this community against one another. Some of you are surely disappointed while others surely feel a sense of relief. No matter your opinions on this decision or Chris in general, the community is here for you all.
