US based cardboard scratch builders: cardboard source?

Hey all,
I've decided to try my hand at scratch building a helmet using the cardboard/bondo/fiberglass method. Sort of like Antman's build on his version 2. However, I'm having a hard time sourcing some 2 mm single ply cardboard. I'm located in the U.S. and have tried Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Home Depot, the internet, etc. and have come up short. I was wondering if anyone located in the U. S. who has used cardboard for helmets or other projects could point me in the direction of a source.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Mike

Got mine at Hobby Lobby. image.jpeg

I bought two. You could get away with one. I made a couple of mistakes and had to use about a quarter of the second one.

I got mine, illustration board, at my local Michaels hobby store, they have a variety of similar products. Get hot pressed if you can find it, it's smoother and sticks together better. It's not matte board, which will flake if bent and usually has a rough surface.

In my hobby lobby they are in some upright slot/cubby hole things at the very back of the store right next to the framing desk.
