ToEleven updates to original helmet

I did some more fiddling around with the dome, face and back details. I would say it's just about ready to mold. I'll let it sit for a few days and see if I still like it.

Look forward to it. Are the ear platforms unaltered?
The angles are a little different at the bottom and a touch longer. I've had new ears printed as well to improve accuracy and fit. My knowledge of the helmet had gotten better with all the time I've spent reading these forums...it's kind of a sickness really.

Interesting size difference. Did you increase the flare?

I think I did a little while heating and bending the mandibles to get them pulled in a little. It looks to me like the sides flared a mm or so, but it really wasn't intentional. Based all the evidence that's presented I can't really see the point of adding whole bunch of flare. I will say some flare adds a little esb-ish feel which is why I can see how popular it is to have.

Strong work. Love the attention to detail - it just shows that you've been looking at it and thinking about the changes you want to make.
