Hi, I finally finished my helmet and want to share some pictures of the making with you. My ESB WIP for the costume can be seen here:

The helmet wich was painted silver along with the jetpack has to be finished. So i Printer out Rafalfett´s famous stencils wich where scaled by Armydad in this thread:

I clued the stencils with spray-clue to the white tracing paper for easy handling:

Now I went on with painting the ears and the dome:

And then the cheeks and the rest:

Nearly done:

In the meantime I did some more detailing with a brush and sealed everything with clear coat. Some detailed pictures of the helmet I will post the next days...

Looks amazing!

What sort of masking fluid did you use? I've tried a few different types, but that one seems thicker (and easier to remove)

I tried Humbrol and I guess it was Valejo but Humbrol was much easier to remove even after days and with layers of paint over it.

A pencil with a silikone tip. Some use a toothpick.
