Superjedi's MF #6 ESB for Jesster

OK, enough silliness. :) Back to Fettin'!
I got the left rear panel finished this afternoon, including some "mechanical weathering" by way of some steel wool and
my usual pointy scratch creating tool. Here are a couple of views.

I'll be stenciling the right panel next.

Thanks, Jesster! The work is rolling right along. . .

Got the big scrape done on the right rear panel. That's eye-crosser #1, LOL. Eye-crosser #2 will be the right mandible, but that'll be much later.
I usually break this up into several sessions. I need to take a few breaks while doing all those tiny chips and specks. I also generally break the
right rear panel into 2 parts: the big scrape, and everything else! Here are a couple of angles.

As usual, I'm saving the pale contrasting gray until the end of the project when I can do it all at once.

Got a lot done this weekend. :) I finished up the right rear panel. Doing the upper right area and the lower right area take less time
combined than doing just the big scrape, LOL. Here are a couple of angles.

I also got the base green and the first airbrushed weathering pass done on the dome and cheeks.

This will be allowed to dry for a full day and then I can begin the dome damage tomorrow after work.

I'm thinking the FP and FPH2 are the same size. I was just wondering for reference... Helmet's looking Great !! Excellent work! Can"t wait to see the next pics...

Thanks! No more waiting. :)

Got the rear of the dome finished up a little while ago. So many juicy scratches. I do these using a combination of silver applied
with my 18/0 brush, and physical scratches made with a sharpened dental tool. Here are a couple of shots.

I'll continue around the dome during the week.

Rolling on. . .
The cat scratch is finished. :) This is one of my favorite features to paint. It's one of those areas where the proportions are really important,
as there are 3 smaller damage spots that make up the whole "region." Here's a shot of the cat scratch with only the silver applied.

Looks kind of funny this way! But after detailing with some gray, it takes on its familiar appearance.

I moved around to the front of the dome to do the area above and around the turn signals. This is a smaller mark, and it doesn't take too long to do.

Notice that I've filled the dent with silver, too. Here's another view.

Detailing the dent comes next. (y)
