I was considering using an old kevlar helmet a buddy has from the national guard and some light aluminum to form my helmet. I want to use an angle grinder to cut the rim and ear flaps off of the K-pot to form the dome. My other option is an older Steel pot from vietnam. Any ideas on which might work better?
