I just viewed a thread about someone asking for a metal helmet and I have been working on mine for a little while on and off. But, I thought I would show it to you guys. I think mine may be a little big but I am going to finish it anyways. Plus there may be too much stretch in the top giving it too much bowl shape. But I just went by my eyes on this one and the next I will try to use the templates. I will post more of this as I progress through it.

Yeah man this looks cool. The way I look at it, your having fun working on Boba Fett stuff and keep in mind we are all constantly learning as we go. Great work man. Happy 4th

Really looks cool. How much of a weight difference do you project between other helmet materials? And happy 4th to all!

hmmmm.......not too sure Syper. My helmet will be heavier, but it is only 20 gauge steel with some bits of aluminum for the cheek peices and some straps around the tops for bands "bling bling". I will wheigh it when complete or maybe as it is just to give you an idea.
