Mcquarrie Fett helmet WIP (action figure based)

Hey folks finally got the MQ storm 2nd mold done! and it came out nice with very few imperfections. So Now I can get crackin on the Fett bucket again.I did work on it some and its basically done just now have to tweak the details.
As for the clay I use I use Roma Plastilena its an oil based clay and comes in 2lb. blocks. It does have sulphur in it so you need to clear coat your sculpt before molding because the sulphur can inhibit the mold from curing properly.I use the med garde the medium firm is great too.

Here is a few pics of an almost done stormy. The pics of me wearing it shows the size of it.I tried to make it the size of the more accurate sized TK helmets and I did pretty good.I am about 6' 3" 220lbs. and yes off duty Stormies wear wife beater tank tops lol.
Thats my mother in law in the back ground

It has the power of the triforce in it; and thats like, three times better then the regular sort.

phil

seriously, it looks great. please send me a free sample. =)

It's a belly-gun, cause Fett doesn't eat or something like that!

When I get serious about trooping, this is the helmet & armor that I want to be wearing! It is the coolest!

hey I finally got some more work done on the fett helmet.I will post more pics soon. Its all done basically as far as I have roughed in all the details and basic contours. I will now make a mold and pull a hard copy. This is the one I will go to town on and sand sand sand and refine all the curves and lines.
Looking pretty cool. Also was wondering if anyone here might be interested in picking up one when they are done.Mods if you want me to start and intrest list elsewhere please let me know. thanks-jason
