MacFett's First Lid

Well folks, after diving in feet first a couple of weeks ago and doing a lot of research, asking ALOT of questions, and pacing the floor, I'm going to pull the proverbial trigger and order my first lid.

I'm going to go with a FPH2 ROTJ from FettPride. It was kind of a tough choice but the pictures and review from rubio95 and the communication I had with Chris really sealed the deal. It's always a tough call over email but he seems like a very nice and passionate guy.

So I figure as soon as the helmet arrives I'll do a review of my own and a step by step thread.

Thank you to BobaMaker and AnimeFan who were equally as professional and timely with their communication and for putting up with questions from an annoying newbie.

Best of luck man. I attempted to paint a lid for the first time and let say, I had to start over a few times. Read and study the past tutorials and videos people have posted before getting started. Patience is key that is for sure. Have fun.

Trigger pulled, FPH2 ordered from FettPride! Now the agonizing wait. I'm going to be worse than a kid on Xmas Eve!

I wouldn't call it agonizing. More like the excitement of anticipation and a great opportunity to exercise a bit of patience while you research and work on other pieces of the puzzle until your Fettmas finally comes! Trust me, Chris' buckets are like no other.
