**Interest** Jeremy Face Cast

I am proud of you friend really you a very attentive person(y), and Jeremy is a genius!!!!!!!!!!!(y)
SPECTACULAR, WONDERFUL, I am happy of being part of this project!!!!!!

:cheersLeo

Hey Daz, sadly im going to have to bail on this, as much as id love to have one, I just cant afford it anymore... waay to much on my plate atm. Sorry for the trouble, but at least it means the first person on the backup list gets a shot at one.

Again, sorry bout this...

I'm about to start work on the eyes, I'm pretty sure that I'll have them OPEN on the finished pieces. Jeremy held a great Bounty Hunter 'grimace' thoughout the moulding process so the eyes closed look a little odd at the moment. I'll hopefully get the eyes opened and some nice shots finished this weekend.

PLAQUE: All 30 copies will certainly have a Coldcast plaque embedded into the back of them, possibly a Bronze or Brass version, and each one will be numbered. Any thoughts on the wording...? Something simple, along the lines of:

Jeremy Bulloch
BOBA FETT
Life Cast
9 December 2008

The numbering will possibly be done by Jeremy when he signs them, (1 of 30, 2 of 30 etc).

DAZ

I agree, and they should be numbered in order of purchase/interest list (mine would be lucky #7... I keep saying that don't I )

I suppose saying "The only true Boba fett" is a tad cheesy!

Great work Daz, I know that you'll do a great job on the eyes! (y)

Thats excellent news, I happen to be off this weekend, and I get paid tomorrow. :cheers

I'm thinking of mounting mine onto another plaque with a Boba Fett figure attached maybe.

Well, here's how the face stands at the moment, no alterations. I'm a little unsure whether to sculpt in 'open eyes'. Once I remove these eyes then it becomes my interpretation and not the real deal. Shall we keep these closed? :confused

I think you should leave the eyes closed, as that would keep it the original way, and if people want to open his eyes they could do it, unless they ask you to open his eyes. You could use that Alginate mold you have, if you still have it, and cast melted clay in it and sculpt out the eyes, that way, you can make it pretty accurate while not having to cut off anything. Or you could cut out the eyelids and custom sculpt the eyes and lids out of clay.

Just some ideas.

I personally would love mine signed and numbered by JB.

Daz, I'd keep the eyes closed as you'd have to revisit JB to get another mould... you and Jeremy have captured that grimace you were after!

DAZ, that is as sweet as i'd hoped it would be, very nice work!
I also agree and think the eyes should stay closed to keep it original.
I would still like to see your work with the eyes open.
Thanks again to you and JB!!!!!
(would like mine signed and numbered please)

It's not that simple, Alginate cannot be poured onto open eyes, any open eyes on a face cast have to be sculpted on afterwards.

So we'll go with eyes closed as shown. I'll work out the materials cost later today and get them posted.
