How to get epoxy smell out of helmet?

Hey, we just put epoxy on the visor for my helmet, and it looks great, only probolem is it stinks like epoxy and has for a week or so. Ive put newspapers in it evryday too, what should I do to it before Celebration 3?! i need to start pianting it very soon, and frankly, if Im in it for 5 min plus I begin to pass out, how do I get the darn smell to go away!?

Coat the epoxy with either plastidip or truck bed liner. spray it over a Q-Tip and rub it over the epoxy, when IT dries you wont smell it. You can also put the helmet in a box along with arm and hammer baking soda, it will knock the smell out.

I agree with cal196, buy some truck bed liner or that black chip guard and paint overtop. That should seal those nasty odors away and give you a nice smooth finish on the inside.

Sit a large peice of sasuage in there for several days, if you can in your trunk in the sun. the epoxy smell will be gone and you will have a nice sausage smell. Everyone likes sausage!
