helmet mod

hello
this is my second post, i joind because i found the instructable on how to make a boba fett helmate out of cardboard.

i was wondering, since there so similar. how hard would it be to modify those plans to make a stormtrooper helmte. are there cardboard plans like the boba helmt for a stormtrooper helmet?

any info would be great, thanks:cheers

hey, ya know that would be great.... if there was such a thing. but i have 2 looked for such a thing. so me and a friend invested ina helmet off ebay for 40 and we vacuum formed it, to make copies. but as far as i know ..there is no such thing.

Ummm you got a helmet off ebay and vacuum formed it to make copies

IN case you are unaware this is called recasting...who's helmet is it that your copying maybe you should ask before you make copies.If its a defunct company like a DP helmet then I think you'll be OK but I would urge you to make sure its not a fan made or current license holders item or your in for some trouble.

yes, like skygunbro said, you may want to re-think your approach to this hobby.
the dented helmet and most other star wars prop/costuming communities don't support the practice of recasting and routinely black list people for such behavior. once your name is tarnished you'll find it hard to acquire the best of the best when it comes to props and costumes.

these are mostly fan made products that start with a motivated and talented artist who puts endless hours of love into the article that you hold in your hands...
their hard work and effort needs to be appreciated.

You will need to learn how to use Pepakura Designer and learn how to make pepakura objects... but once you do, this is probably the closest you will get.
