helmet help

OK in fixing my helmet's already ****ed up paint scheme, I made it look better on color, though you can tell there has been alot of paint on it, I used the spray paints listed in the thread at the top, but was wondering if it's possible to strip it all of the fiberglass and start from scratch? Also I was wondering if there would be anyone I could get to paint the helmet for me, since I am not that great of a painter. I do need it at a reasonable price as I am a army man as well as a husband and father who's funds are somewhat stretched. Any tips/offers would be appreciated.

Unless you have so much paint on it, it has changed the sharpness of the feeatures, your probably best off to sand it with a fine grit sandpaper till its smooth and then re-finish it.

Not knowing exactly what your helmet is made of, its hard to say if you can chemically strip it.

You could damage the surface.

It all depends on what you used to paint it, what you use to strip it, and what the helmet is made of.
