helmet is a bit small

Hey everyone. My helmet came in today and with the padding it was so tight, I couldn't even get my head in there! So I removed the padding, and now I can put it on but it slides. I believe this is a gmh helmet so its not the biggest around.. :/ any really then padding or tricks to keep my head in place without giving up much room?
edit- I did some research on here and I think a small ring of foam may help my situation.

You're welcome. Not sure about comfort, although it seems as though it will be nice. I'll let you know once I put it in my helmet.

Cool.. Isn't the fph2 a decent sized helmet? This gmh isn't cutting it fotnm size.. I need something bigger, much bigger.
