I have gotten the right ear mostly done ( minus the stencils and black arch) and upper and lower cheeks and dome are done other than topical work and killstripes.. pics again soon .. by then the mandibles and back panels should have the grey sprayed if the weather cooperates.

So far this isn't as scary as I had originally thought it was going to be.

So here are my pics up to my unmasking and temporary visor install and rangefinder. Still more detail work to do but for a first time paint I'm surprised at how it turned out..

Yeah its a task..i used humbrol enamels thunned with lacquer thinner.. if i do again it will be acrylics.. far less chemicals.

Man I've never seen that green masking tape before, makes it look like the build went from Buzz-Lightyear colors to damn impressive in 0 seconds flat.

Lol it was all the hardware store had ace brand i think. It was nice when i was masking the cheeks kind of almost looked the right color.
