First helmet attempt, need advice.

After seeing these helmets, I'm going to give it a shot. My question is about material.
I work for a printing company that does digital printing as well as screen printing.
We also recently purchased a Kongsberg I-Cut digital router that could be used to
cut pieces I need.

What would be the best size material for the helmet. I have access to material
ranging from .010 .020 .030 .040 .060 3MM and 6MM PVC Foam board. Also
12 point and 24 point cardboard.

i just started on my own helmet myself. I'm following Antman's post. He uses 2mm thick Cardboard.

.08/2mm PVC foamboard (sintra/celtec) is my preference. I've also built a helmet similar to antman's with frame matting type cardboard, but found the pvc to be far superior to work with. It bends easily with a little heat and keeps it's shape when it cools...it just takes getting the hang of.
