Esb back panel paint order help

I COULD REALLY USE SOME HELP AS IM A NEW MEMBER WORKING ON MY FIRST ESB BUILD. I NEED HELP IN FINDING WHICH ORDER THE PAINT LAYERS ARE IN FOR A LAYERED PAINT JOB ON THE BACK PANELS.ALSO WHICH COLOR HUMBROL GREY IS USED FOR THE LAYER AFTER SILVER I HAVE READ THAT ITS HUMBROL #79 ALSO HUMBROL #106. i COULD REALLY USE SOME HELP BECAUSE TO TOP IT OFF IM COLORBLIND AS CRAP WHEN IT COMES TO GREYS,GREENS,REDS ECT..... THANKS
 
I did base grey blue (humbrol 247/rlm76), then silver, then, grey 106, then concrete, then rlm73. Check out my most recent wip thread if you'd like

Yeah, that's pretty much the order I did so you work from the lightest first and the darker colours last. You also need to pay attention to which order creates the least masking to do otherwise you have the potential to end up masking off vast areas of the helmet.
 
I tried to do mine the way I felt the original helmet would have been painted in the Star Wars Galaxy (or in real life and not for a movie prop) Silver, then grey, then concrete, then the blue/green and finishing by topically applying the base grey. I feel it worked well for me. Good Luck and I can't wait to see the results!
