correct colors for spray paint?

Is your goal to get airbrush colours in a spray can? If so, it seems like a decent alternative....but in my experience of companies matching colours, they are never completely true matches. On top of that, the paint coming out of an aerosol lays down differently than airbrush. You have more control over airbrush than spray cans. Plus, I think it's more cost effective to buy airbrush paints than all the spray cans at $8 a piece.

Yes that was my goal, though I may just buy regular cans because you bring up a pretty solid point.

I planned on using spray paints till I tried it. The exact colors really didn't bother me too much, but, as DP above stated, they just behave so differently out of a spray can. WAY thicker than you really want them. If you're doing a topical, then getting the main parts wouldn't be bad. Then handbrush all the damage and weathering.
If you plan on mostly layered, just get an airbrush.....
