Boba Fett Pre-Pro Eyes Paint Stencils

Colors aren't my area but I would say that is as good a call as any. I find it interesting that this appears to be the only place on the helmet that has this color. Sadly, I believe that is the only pic we have of the keyslots for that helmet. :(
And the fact that it's out of focus isn't helping too much either :facepalm

It always appeared to me that PPv1 and ESB are related, ditto avec PPv2 and ROTJ are related.

The paint scheme on ESB appeared to be directly pulled from PPv1, except for the right chest piece.

The PP2 and the Jedi are related. The same person painted them. And while we can't prove it, there is strong evidence that the PP1, PP3 and ESB hero were painted by the same person.

We know the PP1 was the first to be painted.

It was sent as a template to the person who painted the PP2 and the RotJ (and the "Sandy" helmet).

It is unclear when the PP3 and ESB helmets were painted but I strongly believe they were painted last and possibly one of them IS the PP1, repainted, although I doubt it. The PP1 helmet is the only one that has disappeared and never resurfaced. All of the other helmets are accounted for.

Joe Johnston claims to have only painted ONE helmet, but I find this highly unlikely. I tend to believe he either painted none or three, or if he did only paint one, he had an apprentice who painted in his exact same style.

I was talking to Predetormv about this, but in the outside Poncho shot, they are obviously the same colors, but it just goes to show how lighing can change the Saturation of the exact same colors....I mean look at that RED...I think it gives off the same hue as what Lee (RS) recommends now...a "Caboose" color...where in some shots it looks much darker (the outside ones), yet with direct lighting or flash it changes the color completely and then becomes a brighter more saturated red...
So which one is it??...I'm confused.

I have been working on a listing of information about the helmets and will try to get it posted shortly with pics showing each of the helmets.

I have always thought that in the back of my mind, mainly cause the painting style and colors are pretty close to the hero ESB....
good call, I think you're right.(y)

Tambo, that's awesome. You included the old eyes covered up on the forehead. That's so cool!

Just about to get the physical damage where I want it.... Trying to decide whether to put the MQ-1 and borden connector in now, or wait until after painting... i am thinking now would be the time on both of those...

Throw those suckers in there bro! The real deal was painted with all parts attached from all I can tell.

Who is the lucky guy or gal who will get to paint this bad boy?

Micke is going to be handling the painting on this one. I was really impressed with his PP2 so I want to see him take a stab at the early eyes PP1.
