Boba Fett Helmet Blueprints/Templates

How large and with what margins do I print the helmet .pdf?

I am very desperate to find out as I am trying to get all my templates printed out and finished.

Thanks to everyone who's added to this post and all the help within the forum...
I started a paper template using the PDF's By WOF but soon realised that my very large, miss-shapen head wasn't going to fit :(
I made a number of changes and ended up with something that fitted well.
This is my effort so far, from the WOF templates and the skateboard/battling helmet method. I used 1mm mounting board (compressed cardboard) and my kids old skateboard helmet, all stuck together initially with hot glue.

As you can see, the shape is a lot more squashed... the cardboard ring a here is the shape of my head.
Using the WOF templates as-is meant there was no room for my nose :)

Using my son's old helmet, which is a good fit once all the foam liner is removed.

The profile is a lot narrower, I think, than the original, but I'm not kidding myself that this'll be a full-on replica.
Once the sides are on, hopefully the profile will be a little better.

Filler, filler filler.

Superb Work Wizard!

Starting off on my fisrt ESB build... by the looks of it I may have to give you a credit on the armour itself... So many wonderful templates.

Cheers again

I am newly registered here and i wish to say that the info that i have found here over the last several day has been absolutely priceless. i especially thank alan for all the hard work he has put into the blue prints here, not sure what i would have done with out them. one of the questions i just noticed was asking about how to scale down the size of these blue prints for a child size helmet, and i do have a recommendation for you on that, it does take a little math to do it. pint out a full size copy of the helmet template and measure its full length that will be your circomfirance then measure the circomfirance of the child's head. assuming that the full size print out is 100% calculate the percentage difference between that measurement and the child's measurement and then with a photo copier reduce the copy by that much. it may not give you an exact fit but it should put you close enough so only minor adjustment would be needed to make it work. I have noticed several other questions that i may have some suggestions for but i will read the rest of the posts before i make my self sound like and idiot...lol

Anybody else having printing/ issues between the dome and helmet? My dome turned out a ton smaller than the bucket.

Amazing templates. Great detail. Thank you for sharing.

What a great idea I would never have thought to use a old helmet

As it happens - I should have gone for larger size - after fibreglassing the inside it's a little cosy in there.

Hi, I would like to build my own helmet so this will be useful. But if I do not succeed does anyone know where I can purchase a quality helmet of either Boba or Jango Fett for a reasonable price? Any feedback appreciated.
Thanks
