What would Boba Fett look like Pre or Post Sarlacc? Need some suggestions for bust.

Hi gang! Long time no post.
After being in the backburner for a couple of years, I finally made a mold and cast up my Temuera Morrison sculpt.
I wanted to do a clean Jango/clone version paint job, but also wanted to do a paint-up of what Temuera would look like if he were to play Boba Fett.
Jango had a few scars, but how much scarring/ battle damage would Boba have, both pre and post Sarlacc?
Also, since he is to age normally, would he be younger or older looking than Jango at this time? Would he have the standard grey/silver sideburns "old superheroes" are always portrayed as having?

Any help would be greatly appreciated(y).

He'd probably look slightly younger than Jango by the time of ROTJ. 35-ish maybe.

Post-prequel comic interpretations of him as little more than Jango with a long scar across his whole face which is ok. For his hair I think he'd have more of a short and stubbley shaved head, slightly salt and pepper and maybe an 1/8 to a 1/4 inch long? After escaping the Sarlacc as in The Bounty Hunter Wars Trilogy and the comic Twin Engines Of Destruction, he's described as having sucker-mark scars all over his face and body. These don't necessarily have to be really pronounced, but kind of like what you'd see if you got ringworm or had stretchmarks.

These are just what I picture him like but I'm really interested in what you come up with.

Thanks! Lot's of good ideas to ponder, I never thought about looking at the comics. Definitely going to make salt and pepper hair on him and more stubble. I have to scar the existing bust, so here's a pic for those who want to do some quick mock-up of the injuries.

Twin Engines of Destruction shows Boba with complete bandaging over his face which he uses to hide the scarring and never takes off saying that the bandages "are his face"

Right, but his back is shown and the Bounty Hunter War books describe his pce to some degree when Dengar sees him.

I believe the bandages may have been to disguise his identity from the guild rep when he's hiring Jodo Kast. When he says (to Dengar) "this is my face" he's refering to his helmet.

I'm not sure he'd think that was practical.

There was an old STAR WARS GALAXY card that Dan Brereton (sp?) did where he had kind of long anime-looking bangs, though. Strange.
Interesting to note was that he was also depicted as a goateed alien with almost vampire-like features and pointed ears.

I think pics of Tem during the Barb Wire movie will be a really good refence for you. Also, like Fox said with longer hair.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll have to see how I can cheat on longer hair since the hair on the bust is sculpted, but I'm going to try to pull it off somehow.

Much as I really doubt hed have the longer hair, you can grind what you have down a bit and add super sculpy. I wouldnt think that'd be hard for you, look at your skill level, Vash!

You should check out Bobamakers website, he's also reworking a Bust of Tem' for his Jango manequin.

I'd kinda think he'd probably have same cut as Jango, long enough that you can blend in almost anywhere, but short enough to not have to worry about in a helmet.

Just to add a bit of detail, I was thinking of doing some type of tattoo on his face/neck as well - a hint to the actor's Maori descent.
Anyway, keep the discussion going guys, really great stuff here.

in the legacy of the force (which are the most recent books) hes in his late 50's early 60's and he looks just like jango but with more scars and graying side burns

Not to get nit picky, but i doubt he'd have any tattoos or anything, for various reasons. He'd have to remove his helmet to get them, and then whoever did the work would now know what he looks like, and it'd give him a clearly identifiable mark. But the main reason is this.... Those that care about and read the legacy of the force series it showed that he is getting older and his body is starting to fight against him in the form of new aches and pains. Removing his helmet for any reason would show that he is in fact getting old and probably doesn't have a whole lot of natural years left in him, this would remove a lot of the mystery and danger from the image he has cultivated for himself. Plus I doubt he'd spend the time or money to get one. But again this is just my .02 if you wanna add one go for it, it's your choice.

when iread the mandalorian armor books "seeing" him though Dengars eys kinda made me think of a third degree burn victim, with burns kinda like what sam jackson had in tripple X. just my two cents

I agree with the burn scars. But what I took from the books is that his helmet protected the majority of his face.

Sounds good guys! I'm not familiar with any of the books so this is very enlightening. I personally prefer Boba Fett to remain mysterious and with a helmet on, but since the prequels gave us Jango's face, we can throw what we know regarding battle scars to that image.
Do we have any consensus of where the placements of the burns and scars would be? (ie: cheek, across the eyes, etc.)
Also shapes and size of the scars/burns would be good to consider.

You'd be looking at the raised areas, eyebrow, cheeks, forehead, probably nose. Being raised these areas would take the most beating and burnings.
