What part next?

Hi there everyone. I hope everyone had a great and safe Halloween/costuming weekend. :cheers

I did not don my Fett for the festivities because the flak vest was in dire need of repair and will have to be replaced. I've got a nice one my mother-in-law made for me to replace my hand me down one from Honus. Thanks again Jerome!(y)(y)(y)

Here's a pic of my costume as is followed by a pic of the Pre-production v. 2 that I'm shooting for.

My question to everyone is this:
"What should I do next?"

Make and/or acquire missing parts first OR upgrade/fix existing parts of the costume, then make/acquire the missing parts?

Comments welcome. :)

i vote gauntlets. they sorta complete the image for me... don't know why.
is that whole thing scratch built? pretty nice if so. i would suggest a little more damage to the armor tho
nice dude

Thanks, but to be honest, some is scratch-made, some is not. The jumpsuit is Army surplus with pouches added by my mother-in-law. The gloves are from Dollar General. The helmet is reportedly a Bobamaker I picked up here second-hand. (Whatever it is I love it!):love It is fiberglass.

The armor, vest, belts are all scratch-made by Honus. Plus there's a jet pack by him that's not in the pic. I have made some armor of my own for me, but this is not it. My daughter's costume is scratch-built except for the helmet.

Hey Dude,
First off nice start...
To answer your question... Why not do both?
The key to any costume, no matter what your size/height... is that everything is within scale for your frame.
From what I see you need to get the jumpsuit tailored to fit better.. thats a first, cause you need to gauge how things will fit on top of the jumpsuit and you can't do that with all that extra material...
also you need to trim/re-work the chest armor, it looks a tad bit out of scale with your size. and your shoulder bells are sitting too low.
Also the front leg pouches are too big.
you may be able to make spats with the '"extra" material

also if you can post a pic of "ALL" your parts, that way it's easier for members to get an idea on where your at.

Hope I was of some help.
